Postby rayuki » Mon May 18, 2009 11:15 pm

how do i change the temp folder directory?

im talking about this which comes up in the trace tab all the time.

[main] TRACE 08:10:27.744 Temp folder: C:\Users\bowan\AppData\Local\Temp\javaps3media

i dont want it to be there, as that hdd doesn't have much space left on it, i want it to be in a different place.

That temp directory is only used if you're using the web content functionality of PMS. It's not used during general streaming and transcoding.
Anywho, to answer your question, I'm not sure if there's currently a way to change this without editing the source...

Yes, all of the transcoding is done in memory.
