Windows 7 Support.

Postby greyaxe » Sat May 16, 2009 8:49 pm

Hi I am beta testing Windows 7, which rocks bythe way, and am currently using RC1. I have installed PS3 Media server, but it wont install as a service, a feature i very much love. Are there any plans or efforts int eh works to make this application compatible with Windows 7?

right click ps3 media server icon and run as admin and then try to install as a service. Check if the service is installed by; right clicking computer>manage>service and applications> services and looks for ps3 media service or something similar

Hey Guy, thats just the ticket, installed just fine. One thing under windows 7, when you are providing credentials fo the service to run as you have to specify the full account computername\administrator as an example. Thanks for the advice.
