Hey Redium, Thanks for the new build. It seems to work well with my PS3.

I was wondering though. Are you guys sticking with the PS3 alone or are you looking at TV's with DLNA support?

If you are when do you think that will be available?

If I can help with debug or testing and stuff then no probs.

There is support for other DLNA clients in the new beta but PS3 will always be the main focus (as it's probably the most capable DLNA client out there).

Hi!

Maybe Issue 357's reason had been found by thierry.

----------------
I think I have found the reason of this

I think the charset used by mencoder is UTF-8
and the charset used by InputStreamReader in OutputTextConsumer.run is MacRoman

So, the UTF-8 is interpreted as MacRoman characters, this is wrong

I've recompiled PS3 with adding UTF-8 to InputStreamReader and that's work fine

OutputTextConsumer.java line 45:
//br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(inputStream));
br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(inputStream, "UTF-8"));

-------------------------------------------------------------------
When will this fix be applied on mac build?

I downloaded r330 build and found that .smi subtitle is not detected.
Previous version has supported smi sub correctly.

Just tested r330 and no subtitles are automatically detected but they work fine when I go into the Transcode folder. r329 used to automatically find them. Same config in both (I keep a copy of PMS.conf to use in all versions...)

r330 works nice... :P

But I noticed that it does not yet properly handle the ending of various Quicktime files (such as those found on the Apple movie trailers site). :?

The files remux and play ok, then freeze a few seconds before the end of the movie. :shock:

Just uploaded r331. Contains the following fixes:

OSX: Reopening of the main window after you closed it is now possible, also fixes start as minimized (thanks to grcvoodoorush)
OSX: Unicode files should now be playable (thanks to Thierry Pittet)

Could you post a bug report on this? Thanks!
