Well, is there anything I can do to find the error myself (I do not think I can get any information out of the TV itself...)?

yes, if you could find a working server, and then take a wireshark trace, it would be very helpful :)

From another server program that does work with the Bravia and do a Wireshark capture (packet trace). I believe Twonky and WMP work with the Bravia, and possibly TVersity as well...

Wireshark: www.wireshark.org/

Send the capture to Shagrath in a PM or email to ps3mediaserver 'at' gmail 'dot' com
It's advised to filter the traffic in the capture to the relevent IPs for your PC and PS3 (don't forget 255.255.255.0 for UPnP traffic) and to limit all other network traffic if possible. These captures can get pretty large in a short amount of time...
