5.1 sound not seperating correctly

Hi can anyone help, I have eventually got avisynth/ffmeg working to stream x264 pretty well only the odd stutter, but my main problem now is the audio is sending the center speaker sound to the right speaker of my 5.1 sony cinema surround. I have dolby decode selected in ffdshow audio decoding. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...thanks chaps

Only seems to do it with MKV files, ISO are seperating sound properly

Ok well since this is my EXACT issue and noone has responded.. lol i have registered and would like to add that this is happeneing to me too. I can fix it by reversing those speakers, but unfortunatly i dont ONLY use the ps3 media server so when i go back to everything else its all out of wack..lol Anyway I am running on ubuntu 8.10 , this happens with whatever transcoding one i use...
