Location of PMS.conf

Postby Rejoice » Sun Apr 12, 2009 2:00 pm

First i must say, what a great program! - Works flawless :D

But I have one question: Where is the PMS.conf for the linux version?

I simply cant find it and the program dont generate one.

I dont have a GUI on this linux box so im working on a console.

Hope you can :)

It should be in the PMS install directory, although there was an issue a while back where the conf file wasn't included in the Linux binaries, but I thought it was already resolved. However, if you can't find it, you can always create your own. Just need a text editor, and you can see the settings here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=254&p=1454
I provide NO application support via PM or email, so please post your question to the forum per the Forum Rules.

If you run it as a startup servce the conf file is in your home directory

It is NOT included in the Linux Binaries at this time - and where do i place the .CONF file if i choose to create it manually?

It's not included, because it's auto-generated the first time.

if you extracted PMS to /opt/pms-1.10.5,
cd /opt/pms-1.10.5,
run ./PMS.sh

Then the PMS.conf file will be in the folder you run PMS.sh from. If not, then you are likely running it incorrectly.
