2114 protocol error with 1.90.1

Postby P0werGl0ve » Sat Jan 04, 2014 5:47 pm

I've finally got pms to recognize my PS3 and imagine the joy being ripped away from me when I try to access my media from the PS3 and it comes up with a DLNA protocol 2114 error. I had pms looking to a network drive, so i removed that and pointed it to a local thinking that may be a problem, but it wasn't. So, now I'm at a loss. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Java and PMS and I'm not really sure where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated.
This is the link to the debug log from pastebin, http://pastebin.com/HnSQzFYC Hope that provides enough info to help me out

From where the error is occurring in the debug.log, it seems like a permissions issue. Try re-installing with Run as Administrator on the installer, and also try running with all protection programs disabled.
If that doesn't work, it could also be a lingering issue with a java install, so try doing a full Java purge and then re-installing Java and PMS. Links for purging Java can be found in the FAQ - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3507&start=20#p41214
I provide NO application support via PM or email, so please post your question to the forum per the Forum Rules.

After a fresh install of both Java and PMS AND running pms as admin, it finally works. Thank you so much for helping. Now to figure out how to get MKV's to work.
