Hi taconaut, yes he is transcoding but i have many video that is an compatible format for the ps3, whatever i will test it on the next weekend why the tsMuxeR is not working with PMS-MLX.
Whatever, is not a great problem it where only beautiful. Thank you for the reply.
Question : can i update the hole library with the new plugin for TVSeries or can i only do this with rename? and is there a plan with an Backup-Button for the Library ? :)

I think its not the end, it is a awesome project for me ;)

Sure, select the files you want to update in the library view -> right click -> Update -> select the profile you want to use. If you haven't defined a profile to update TV series, click on configure and define a new template by clicking the + in the upper right of the dialog.

and is there a plan with an Backup-Button for the Library ?

Theres an issue to back up configurations, but none for the actual library. You can backup the library by copying the db folder in your profile directory.
What is the scenario for which you would like to have this functionality?
If you always wanted to have your most recent videos at the top of the folder in the ps3 or wished you could group all videos with the same genre in one folder, have a look at pms-mlx

Hi taconaut,

is there a problem when i update my hole library with some files are already scanned and updated can he skip this files ?

last Weekend i have test many times and i have also reboot with open pms-mlx and the library (now my Library (Database) was faulty) fortunately i had backuped my database.
I have deleted the old Library and copied the backuped one and now it is running again. My Database is very huge so i where happy that i have a backup :)
I have Backup only the Database.

I'd have to check the code to be sure, but if I remember correctly, it will modify all the selected fields for all selected files and clear the tags to reimport new ones. Give it a try on a few files to be sure ;)

There might be a DB functionality to do a full DB backup, I'll look into it at some point. You'll have to go with the manual backup for now.

Thank you, in the moment i backup the Database every Week.

I will test the update process on the weekend.

Have you hear about a plugin for Hibernate a Mac Computer ? Your Plugin is only for PC i think jumpy is the correct one but i am not the best in configure.

Hi taconaut,
I have test it and i have found some errors :) sorry hehe

1. TsMuXer is not working when the Engine is on the First Place of the Transcoding Preferences , i think Mencoder or whatever dont get a stream , here are the logs sorry i have this uploaded again to Uploaded.net but this time as a zip :) http://uploaded.net/file/r496avcz
I have added 3 Logs one is for the official PMS release and two for your PMS-MLX with tsMuXeR.
Without TsMuxeR the Movies are stuttering with TsMuxeR all is fine , shame in the moment i use the official PMS Release :(

2.
Code: Select all
[              main] WARN  2013-12-14 16:28:12.405 Unknown property: 'still_sizes' value: '[w92, w185, w300, original]'

i have found this Warning at the Log on starting time what mean this ?

3. With the Filewatcher Plugin there is a problem when i copy a new Video to the share he imports the data to early with many zero fields and the library is faulty.
I have found this:

Code: Select all
[    FSEvent thread] DEBUG 2013-12-14 16:49:28.210 File created event receicved for '/Volumes/PMS-Filme/Filme/Action/3D/G.I. Joe Die Abrechnung.mkv'
[    FSEvent thread] TRACE 2013-12-14 16:49:28.313 Matched format MKV to "/Volumes/PMS-Filme/Filme/Action/3D/G.I. Joe Die Abrechnung.mkv"

and when i enter the path i get this error:

Code: Select all
[server worker #1-4] DEBUG 2013-12-14 17:02:00.168 Start refreshing children for folder '3D' (1)

Thanks for the sorrow report, I'll have a look as soon as I can; busy holidays ahead :)
If you always wanted to have your most recent videos at the top of the folder in the ps3 or wished you could group all videos with the same genre in one folder, have a look at pms-mlx

Hi there,

Great work on trying something different with the way the files are listed. I've been trying to give it a go today but I just can't get on with it, I'm wondering if it's a limitation due to the shear amount of files I have..... or me simply not having a clue how to use the system lol.

Firstly, this is what I have....

E: Shared Seasons - Contains approx 50 different shows, all episodes of all seasons contained within. Over 2000 files total.
F: My Seasons - Contains approx 30 different shows, all episodes of all seasons contained within. Over 4000 files total.
G: Movies - Contains approx 900 movies.

There are a few other bits and bobs but that's about it for the most part. I'm struggling to sort out the configuration so that I don't get huge alphabetical lists everywhere. I seem to be able to sort everything by how I would like, but not with the same level of control as I have with the standard setup.

How would you go about configuring such a setup?

I was hoping to have something along the lines of...

Movies - Sort by Genre, Name, Year, IMDB rating, etc.
Seasons - Sort by Show Name (not individual files, but the actual show name)- Within which sort by season or something like that.

Is anything like this at all possible? I really love the idea but I'm struggling to figure out how to configure it to be useful to me.

Thanks
scotster
