Im wondering if theres a way i can get this live youtube stream to work on ps3:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPzaN7Gur74

I added it to my web.conf and it just says there are no titles when i go into the folder (im assuming this means this video type is not compatible with PMSencoder - I have the newest 1.6.3 version)

I also have jumpy with the youtube XMBC addon, if i find this live stream there and navigate via the folders it again ends with 'there are no titles'. Is there anything extra i can do to make it work.

I had already tried both those things, and this particular video doesnt appear on my ps3. Theres no pmsencoder selectable icon there to start the video where i created a folder, and the same using jumpy i can see the video title via navigating youtube but it just ends with 'there are no titles' where the media should be.
Its a live video so isnt on ps3youtube or the official youtube addon.

EDIT: seems every youtube video i try via manually inputting videostream address to web.conf or by using jumpy and youtube xmbc addon just is not found.

Having some troubles watching a podcast video. I think it has to do with the video format, but I'm not sure. I'm looking to run this primarily on Mac OS X, Snow Leopard. I have however tried running this under Win XP, with J7, but end with the same result. Other than the one addition to WEB.conf, all settings are defaults. Below is all from XP.

It works for me, though it didn't when I tried a few hours ago. The site is/was painfully slow.

Hmm...I didn't think of it before, but yesterday I tried opening the mov URL directly in a browser and it did take nearly 10 minutes before it started playing. It was so long I had already forgotten I had tried to play it...

That said is there a way to increase the allowed timeout value? Primarily for testing purposes, not convenience.

Save this to the PMSEncoder script directory, edit it to taste and then restart PMS:

Thank You. This worked in getting the stream running through XP in VirtualBox. Still not able to play it in OS X, but I believe that may be due to running Java 6, not Java 7.

i have all codecs and i have vlc player
i have enabled everything on transcoding tab (every thing has a green circle)
