No renderers found when roommate is home

Postby mike_pants » Thu May 23, 2013 1:38 am

Twice now when my roommate is home, I get the result "No renderers were found." Whenever he is not home, PS3 Media Server works absolutely flawlessly both wired and wirelessly. In Traces, I see "The server should now appear on your renderer."

The Playstation has a dedicated IP address, and of course all the permissions have been given through the firewall and antivirus. Like I said, it never fails to find the PS3 unless my roommate is home, so I'm assuming one of his devices is causing a conflict? But my networking knowledge is paltry at best.

Thoughts?

Tried restarting modem and router, then tried pinging the PS3 and it timed out. But again, it has been working flawlessly all day today, so the chances of some setting suddenly changing seem remote. I don't follow what has happened...

This updated version of the problem
I also encountered the same problem with you not find renderer
But using an earlier version of PMS is no problem
So it is still waiting for the official to solve this problem, right
