having issues with watching anime

I'm trying to watch Kickassanime's release of Chrno Crusade and the subs do not appear. I currently have the latest build of 1.72.0 and have tried using the mkvmerge method to no avail.

Where you get this incorrect settings?
Code: Select all
*eng,fre,jpn,ger,und*

Many times described what is the correct format so try searching.

I don't touch the sub or dub settings. What should I change them to?

I don't agree with you ;) Format for this settings is like:
Code: Select all
audio_code,sub_code;audio_code,sub_code

So if you are e.g. from France and don't understand english, you should use something like:
Code: Select all
fre,off;und,off;*,fre

It means when FRE audio is present, don't use subs. If UNDetermined audio is played (not tagged tracks as in AVI which doesn't support it), don't load subs. But if any other audio is played, load FRE subs.
How to set subs you can find here in forum or here:

It depends... but format is OK.
Post mediainfo for your file and exact name of your external subs.

Settings above should work with this file(eng subs with Jpn audio). Only prerequisite is you have to use transcoding with MEncoder engine (move it to the top of engines) and ticking autoload subs with the same name.
