PS3 media server problems

Postby Peaf » Sun Mar 10, 2013 4:29 pm

Hi:

Installed ps3 media server and xbmc plug in.

My databases is a mysql database, located in my server. The movies are on a shared disk connected to this server (iMac). The database was created with xbmc.

I added the mysql configuration like this:
pmsxbmc.mysql.host = 192.168.1.254
pmsxbmc.mysql.port = 3306
pmsxbmc.mysql.video= xbmc_video75
pmsxbmc.mysql.user = xbmc
pmsxbmc.mysql.pass = xbmc

In ps3 I can see the xbmc plugin, I can see the Movies folder and inside all the folders but in the end after selecting the file I get the error "File is missing".

In the trace I can see this information:
INFO 2013-03-10 15:44:10.555 [pool-4-thread-3] Renderer XBMC found on this address: mr-imac.home (192.168.1.254)

Any ideas?

I have always used xbmc on the mac and on the appletv using the same database. To connect either on mac and in apple tv I used the url (nfs://192.168.1.254/Movies/). I want to stream to a too whre I have a ps3 using PS# media server. Will the xbmc plugin for ps3 media server be a solution?

Thank you
