Snapshot build crashing for me

PMS 1.72 works like a charm. Trying to test the upcoming version, I followed the instructions at viewtopic.php?f=14&t=14753, installed the snapshot (1.80.0 with dependencies) and PMS started as usual, but as soon as I try to navigate it from any Player it crashes badly (Java Platform SE binary stopped working), with no indication in the logs of probable cause. Details below.

I just downloaded the latest 1.80.0 w/ dependencies and I get the same error as soon as I navigate to the folder that my media is stored.

"jna1063356509286115518.dll" may indicate that MediaInfo.dll or MediaInfo64.dll have to do with this crash. PMS is almost entirely pure Java (which ought to rule out Java VM crashes), except for the MediaInfo bit. When you start browsing, that library will be used to get media information and apparently it crashes Java.

You could try downloading different versions of MediaInfo.dll from http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/.

For what it's worth, I've tried v0.7.62 (32bit and 64bit) with PMS 1.80.0-SNAPSHOT and am still getting the same Java crash as the OP.

Guess I'll hop back onto 1.72 for now, looking forward to VLC as an option

Will check back here to see if there are any suggestions, happy to give them a try and report back.

something since march 31st in snapshot is crashing pms all of a sudden on directory browsing.. so something either today or yesterday is buggy. i run pms as a service when it crashes it resets and the debug log is new again. so no idea i got a feeling its library cache related. march 30 snapshot runs fine. i dont think its mediainfo .62 since ive been running that for ages, i have been manually updating it.

please revert this, it crashes when run as a service. maybe normally aswell i dunno i run as a service.

I was hoping the new JNA version would finally subside that problem as it didn't crash in Windows XP.

yeah u aint the first person to try that lol its happend before lucky there was a comment there thx man recompiling will let you know if anything else goes wrong but its been running great lately.

if you want something to do update the windows mencoder to sb52 its a straight swap no code alterations needed. ive been manually updating it everytime lol.
