Streaming to Vizio Smart TV

I just purchased a vizio e320i-A0 hdtv and I'm trying to set it up as a media center. I am able to see my files after following these instructions:

I am able to get it to work for some files, but not others. What gives? I have encoded all the files the same way in Handbrake using h264 into m4v containers. Using

ffmpeg -i filename.m4v

I only see differences in the bitrates and resolutions of the files, NOT the codecs. Does anyone have any experience with this? What settings should I use for the files to consistently work? Are there any settings in PS3 Media Server that might be related to this?

I found a work-around for the time being. The key is the XVID codec. Need to test different audio types but mp3 has worked well with the XVID codec. Here is a link to what I found...
