Can any one help a idiot!!

PMS has stopped working!!
my ps3 can see my media server i can view photos and play music from it,
but my films won't play I can see them (I have the thumbnails) but if I select a movie the screen just goes blacK.
the only thing I can see on the PMS is for some reason I have a NO RENDER FOUND message, all plugins are green and good.
I have uninstalled and re installed. with no luck. ITS Just stopped, Im not the best with tech any help would be great.

Since no one is chiming in, I would bet that there is a firewall issue. Just a guess mind you but it might be possible that not all the necessary ports are allowed to pass. What platform are you running under?
