win8 lags

Anybody got the same issue that every movie played stuck? (win8)
hardware is up to date, settings are more or less default. tried several configurations.
tried also java-32 and 64 bit, 64 is even worse..

Hi,

I'm having a similar problem
Since I installed Windows 8 on my computer the PMS 1.72 server is not working.

Have updated java etc but it does not work.

what kind of problem do you have? i mean "does not work" is a real wide range =P
i've got lagging issues,
hardware, i5 3570, asus p8z77, 16 gigs ram, win 8 enterprise 64bit, system on ssd, movies on normal disk.. with w7 it worked..
modified buffer settings, played with some checkbox settings, as mentioned above with java to, disabled firewall, AV, still same issue..

ha, sorry for this mess. discovered that the movies were just crap i've tried to watch... everything fine so far.
