MKV DTS - Missing Audio

Hey there

I have been using PMS for quite a while now, mostly streaming MP4's, I do however have a huge problem with MKV's.

I don't use a dedicated audio system, only the speakers on my TV, which is connected to my PS3 via HDMI. However, when using MKV's with DTS audio, no matter how I mess with the settings, I either only ever get huge buzzing noises, or I can only hear the music and never any of the speech.

To get the buzzing noises, I have to Keep the DTS track, but I guess since I am using a TV, it does not support DTS. What settings should I have done? Keeping in mind I do NOT have a surround sound system. The funny thing is, I got MP4's that have AC3 with 5.1 surround sound, and they play absolutely fine in stereo.

What settings should I have on PMS and on my PS3?

Untick "Keep DTS track" so it is transcoded to AC3 or LPCM when ticked.
Keep DTS can be used only when you are sending audio to external receiver with DTS support.

When I do this though, I do not hear any talking. All I hear is some background music and effects almost as if its only sending the rear channels.

What you have set in PMS GUI? 5.1 audio or stereo only? Did you tried to enable LPCM option so audio is not encoded to AC3 but it is encoded to PCM?
Both settings generate wrong/missing audio output?

When I do that, I just get really loud static sound.

Actually its not generating static if I disable the "KEEP AC-3 Track" but again, Im not getting any speech from the videos.
