Web Streams Not Playing

I continuously get "data not supported" or "date is corrupt" errors when I try to load up web streams via the web.conf file. One in particular:
http://icecast.omroep.nl/radio4-baroque-bb-mp3

Its an 256kb mpeg audio stream. Plays fine through the browser but doesn't work through PMS. The previous link worked great: audiostream.Web,Radio,Dutch,National,AVRO=Baroque around the Clock,http://shoutcast.omroep.nl:8068/listen.pls

Are there any guidelines for what will stream and what won't? Any additional plugins that can be adapted. I tried to use the VLC player and nothing was playable.


I am running version 1.72.0 and everything else seems to be working ok.

I updated mplayer and all the audio streams work again. Must have been some bug that was in the version packaged with 1.72.0
