Files not appearing on PS3

I have used PS3MS for a couple years now with little to no issues. Now all of a sudden in the past week PS3MS will appear on my PS3 and I can see folders, but no files. After waiting for a while I eventually get the DLNA protocol error 2006. After searching the forum I found a similar topic which suggested deleting the database file, which I did to no avail. I have reinstalled PS3MS several times, reinstalled windows, reset my PS3, and restarted my router and access point. Anyone have any suggestions?

Desktop: Intel i7 3770k, 16GB RAM, Window 8, PMS 1.72.0
Streaming to PS3
Motorola SB5101 Modem connected to Netgear WNDR3700 Router. Desktop connected to Netgear WN2500RP as wireless access point.

I kinda have the same problem:

When PMS runs for several days on my server, files will not show up. I have to manually quit and restart PMS which is quite annoying. Has been like this for several versions and the debug log doesn't show any problems.
