Complete noob needs some help :(

Hi

I just started to use this app yesterday, to stream content from my Imac (or an external hard drive connected to my Imac) to my xbox.

I've got everything working, just using the default settings and have been able to watch a few films from both the mac hard drive and the external hard drive.

I have 2 problems:

1) - Hard drive keeps going to sleep. I have selected 'Prevent OS from sleeping while sleeping', but it still sleeps. I have installed caffeine, but it still sleeps. I can disable sleeping in my system preferences and it works fine but I'd rather not do this every time I want to watch something. Any idea? I'm using Mountain Lion OS.

2) - Just discovered tonight. I'm trying to watch part 1 of a film called The Stand (The Stand Part 1 -The Plague.m4v). I can find the file on the xbox and when I select it it starts to play. Every time I play it, either from the Mic or from the external drive, it stops playing after a few seconds and goes back to the menu where I can select it again. It is perfect until this point, but does it every time! It's the same point every time I try to play the file.

This is what it says in the 'Traces' log:

Code: Select all

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for your help
