Hello,
I was wondering if I can use PMS to mirror my Mac's screen (similar to AirPlay with AppleTV on Mountain Lion or AirParrot on older OSX versions). I'd like to play videos from my Mac on my TV that are not media files on my hard drive, like web streams that are not supported by PS3 apps.

Sharing your desktop through PMS has been tried in the past with varying degrees of failure/success.
The better method would be to directly stream the web streams through PMS - FAQ: How do I get web video feeds/streams to work?
