Question about connecting from pc to ps3

I have a question about connecting from my pc to my ps3. My setup at home is with my cable modem and my router in one location in my laundry room. It then gives me access in certain rooms in my house throgh a internet connection through wall outlets in each room. My question is i have my pc and my ps3 in the same room in my house so do i need to connect another router to my pc for my ps3 to recognize my pc? Just not sure about this part.

Plug the PC and the PS3 into the same network and they should be able to see each other. If you only have one network plug in that room you would need a router to multiply the number of available network plugs.
