1.70.1 was released on September 1, and there have been approximately 100 commits since then in the development version - https://github.com/ps3mediaserver/ps3me ... ter?page=1
In addition, there are still plenty of bugs/ideas/features for the devs to work on, so development shouldn't be stopping anytime soon.
I provide NO application support via PM or email, so please post your question to the forum per the Forum Rules.

I really dont see anything new since SubJunk and others left this project. Its usually mencoder or ffmpeg updates and a few bug fixes

Im now using other servers such as Serviio and Twonky. I think PS3 Media Server helped to start using media servers for my Ps3 but now other servers are doing a better job.

Serviio is now my main one, they now include a MediaBrowser so you can watch your videos over 3G or Wifi in a remote place rather than your home.
The cool part about Serviio is they have custom plugins for Video sites.
Twonky has always remained stable, its a big company that makes it so theres always new features.

I think PS3 Media Server has come to standstill in terms of features. But its fine as theres other competition out there

lol they aint even in the same league as pms, and pms 1.80 is in development stage and i am using it atm 1.80snapshot, its highly stable atm and only needs to be updated with 3rd party apps get updated as well as minor fixes. isnt that what u would want, there will always be new versions because librarys need updating as well as occasional fixes and support for new devices. its Christmas time also so i wouldnt expect them to be doing many fixes atm. i can see early next year when 1.80 gets released or maybe earlier if you are lucky. :)
