PS3 Media Server

Hello !

First of all, excuse my English

i'm french !

Since update from 1.2x (can't remember) to 1.52 than 1.54. All my video files appears on my renderer (Freebox V6) as TS file. for instance south park s06e01.ts whereas it's a simple avi file. This trouble causes the impossibility to forward or backward any video file.

Do you have any idea to help me ?

For info : no problem with 1.40.

seems resolved with 1.70 !

Hi

It seems that the renderer configuration file force to transcode in mp2ts for all freebox models ....
but freebox v6 could read : ( Taken from freebox wiki )

I wrote a new conf file from scratch base on ps3.conf. It works well on Freebox V6 with PS3MS 1.72 But there are lags with .mkv 720p file. You should try here : http://pastebin.com/sDhXCrwH

Did you try ?

I've another problem with MKV H264 file. On freebox V6 renderer, impossible to run a "fast forward" on the video. Did you notice that ?
