I have updated mencoder

Who said anything about updating MEncoder?

• Open the "Transcoding Settings" tab
• Select the video file engine "MEncoder"
• Empty the field "Audio/subtitles language priority"

Then save and restart.

Thank for your help. Ok, I did empty the field en also disabled ASS/SSA. Still not working.

Is that your PMS.conf or is it the sample PMS.conf bundled with PMS? Your PMS.conf can be found here:

If that's the file you posted, then you need to remove it: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15231#pms-upgrade-notes

Subtitles need to have the same name as the file with a different extension e.g.:

I found the PMS.conf here: /Applications/PS3 Media Server.app/Contents/Resources/Java

Now attached the file from: /Users/Nicole/Library/Application Support/PMS
