PMS 1.70.1 VLC Video/Audio Engine could not be activated

For help and support with PS3 Media Server in general

PMS 1.70.1 VLC Video/Audio Engine could not be activated

Postby Bloch01 » Sat Oct 06, 2012 4:27 pm

My Settings:

Win7 Home 64bit @ Crucial SSD 128Gb (One Partition)
PMS 1.70.1 @ C:\Program Files (x86)\PS3 Media Server
Oracle Java 6 Update 35
VLC 2.0.2 @ C:\Program Files\VideoLAN

either the #Web Folder isn´t shown in my XMB on the PS3, so i couldn´t stream any Web-based Programs.

I had googled many sites and on most Sides User had the same Problem (no #Web Folder in XMB) but no solutions.

(pls note that my engl. is not very fine, only school based knowledge)
