Managed to fix this by reinstalling my graphics card drivers.. I guess! because suddenly it started working, but it was after a week or so after I updated my VGA drivers so I am not sure

I am trying this method and following the instruction a couple posts back. I'm getting Malformated line -vc dnscoreavc.

The last K-Lite Codec Pack i installed came with LAV codec.
LAV have CUDAVID aceleration, can i use your method to force LAV encoder on MENCODER?
