Help with low speech volume on movies

Hi,

New to using PS3 media server and using it on Xbox 360 or DLNA with my Samsung TV.

Have a question, on lots of the movies I watch they are in 5.1 sound and when listening at night find speech volume can be really low then action sounds very loud, which is not good for others who are sleeping.

Is there a way I can configure it so it increases speech volume or at least level volume so speech and loud action scenes stay about same volume.

Headphones are not an option at moment and sound is coming through Philips sound bar.

Look on your TV, receiver or device for an option called "Dynamic Range Compression" or "Night Mode". It will do exactly what you need.

I was havinbg similar issues so I experimented with all possible settings. Disabling all audio worked for me. See attached
