DTS-HD MA and TrueHD not working with 1.54.0?

With the new build, 1.54.0 (2012-6-25) there was supposed to be DTS-HD MA and TrueHD support. I still cant stream mkv and bluray's with this type of audio.
Plain DTS works as usual. I have checked the boxes for: use lpcm, keep ac3 track, keep dts track. Is there some setting to enable DTS-HD MA and TrueHD that i am missing?
Also I am not transcoding

You need to have a direct HDMI connection from your PS3 to your receiver, which also needs to support LPCM. I believe the PS3 also needs to be configured for LPCM, not bitstream, but happy.neko can confirm.
Is this how you are configured? I wasn't sure by this line:

Both options can be enabled simultaneously for best result.

What exactly happens? No sound, playback error or something else.
With your ps3ms settings you should see 5.1/7.1 PCM for TrueHD and 2.0 PCM (fake label for 5.1 DTS) 1.5mbps for DTS-HD if you press select on gamepad during playback.

I dont get the option to choose any of those. The only audio options when i press triangle during playback is left, right and left+right OR i dont get any options, just "1".
My ps3 does have a hdmi connection to my receiver. It supports LPCM.

I think I may be getting dts-ma and trueHD but its just that the light is not coming up on my receiver.

I don't know about truehd but definitely PMS(read MEncoder) is not able to output DTS-HD(MA). MEncoder extracts core DTS only so on receiver you will see DTS but on PS3 you will see LPCM2.0 (DTS encapsulated to PCM to trick PS3 which denies DTS streaming)

So are you saying that there is no way to play DTS-HD MA via ps3 media server? Because I am seeing exactly this, regardless of whether I play a DTS or DTS-HD 7.1 file I am seeing LPCM 2.0 1.5MB on the PS3 and DTS 5.1 on the receiver. There is no 7.1 in sight.

Yeah, it is little bit misleading. You can only see Core DTS which is 5.1 only. But MEncoder has decoder for True-HD up to 7.1 so 7.1 is possible for these tracks (at least when LPCM transcoding is enabled).

Should both LPCM and Keep DTS Track be checked in transcoding settings? When Just LPCM is checked, my receiver says Multichannel 5.1, and the ps3 says its 5.1 channel. When DTS is checked in PSM, the receiver says DTS 5.1, however the PS3 says 2 channel. What are the setting for best sound quality using HDMI?
