Visual artifacts in 1.60.0

Sorry for not providing logs at first.

Now I also saw pixelization with my TV, with version 1.60.0 and default settings.
It starts with a black screen and after a while the static pixelization screen is shown.

Seems that for all video (not native supported, with or without subtitles) with ac-3 audio now tsMuxeR and MEncoder are used instead of MEncoder only.

My Tv does not support tsMuxeR, that output a ts format with H264.

The philipsPFL.conf gives no support for H264 with mpegts:

With previous versions of pms, tsMuxeR was therefore never used as a engine.

I tried to disable the tsMuxeR engine, but then it still be used.

But with the next option not checked:
"Keep AC3 track (no re-encode, may cause inaudible dialog and A/V sync issues)"
Only MEncoder is used and the video plays fine.

Here debug.log files and MediaInfo while playing a affected file (mkv/H264/ac-3 with no subtitles) by using the #transcode folder# and selecting MEncoder,
with version 1.45.0 and 1.60.0. (fresh instal and PMS.conf deleted)

Where default with both versions "Keep AC3 track (no re-encode, may cause inaudible dialog and A/V sync issues)" is checked.

Version 1.45.0 plays fine.

yeah had a feeling it was the switch engines thing added. i do not wanna use tsmuxer is unrealiable heh. mencoder plays everything.

I tested the new build, and only MEncoder is used now for video with ac-3 audio, with default enabled option:
"Keep AC3 track (no re-encode, may cause inaudible dialog and A/V sync issues)".
Same behavior as version 1.45.0 and therefore no pixelization.

I reinstalled Version 1.54.The PMS.conf - file of 1.60 dont exist any more. Version 1.54 works fine. I hope the problem will be eliminated in the version. I was always very satisfied with the PMS before. An unusually useful software that makes it easy to stream high quality!

Hi there,

I've the same problem with my Sony Bluray BDP-S480, what I sas is that ow my BD is recognized as SMP-N100, before (1.52.1 version) it was recognized as BDP-S480 without problem.
Maybe that’s the problem, PMS is trying to encode in a different way because it’s not identifying the device correctly.

My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, my CPU is an Intel Core i3 M350 @ 2.27 GHz. I've got 3GB RAM. I am streaming to a Sony TV (KDL-32EX525). My connection is Wi-Fi (54 Mbps). PC <- wireless -> Wireless Router <- wired -> TV.

In the attachments, there is a picture of how the TV is showing the video and the "debug.log" file. Below, my configuration file.
