Blackberry Playbook

Postby kooby » Mon Jan 30, 2012 7:56 pm

I use this PS3 MS for 2 Samsung tv's and my Ps3 - amazing server and amazing support community!!

I recently picked up a BB Playbook during their fire-sale. I have downloaded the TVersity renderer on the playbook and am able to get a connection to the PS3 MS - traces show the IP of the playbook as connected but its unable to identify the renderer.

Has anyone tried playing around with the playbook to see if the PS3 MS can stream to the TVersity app on the PB? (or any other means of streaming to the PB) - The TVersity app has a setting for"generic", i.e. that it does not have to be mated to the TVersity server that's why I was hoping that the PS3 MS could connect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I can now get the PS3MS to see the Playbook using the TVersity app on the playbook, however, the PB does not see a directory structure. This is the first few lines of my conf file:
UserAgentAdditionalHeaderSearch=(X11; Linux i686 on x86_64; rv:5.0a2)Gecko/20110524 Firefox/5.0a2

This is an excerpt from the traces:
[New I/O server worker #1-1] INFO 19:24:24.751 No IP filter specified, access granted to /
[pool-3-thread-1] INFO 19:24:24.772 Checking ip: for PLAYBOOK-894A
[pool-3-thread-1] INFO 19:24:24.777 Renderer PLAYBOOK-894A found on this address: playbook (
[main] INFO 19:24:27.499 The server should now appear on your renderer

I'm a total newb - Any help would be greatly appreciated
