Sony SMP-N100 Profile render SOLUTION !!

Postby guillepalao » Tue Jul 03, 2012 12:39 am

Hi everybody. I was looking a media player server for my SMP-N100. I used Serviio and PMS3 and I liked PSM3 because can use the external subtitle with mkv files.
First, the PMS3 don't connect with the smp-n100. Serviio work out of box, so I made the mix with two configure file and the result is this the attach file.

Now, PMS3 work very well with my smp-n100 !!!, and if you want to appear the SMP-N100 icons when connect, you can paste the in to "/resources/images/" and "/resources/images/clients/" inside the pms.jar the SMP-N100.png file.

Thank you !!!

You don't need to do that: FAQ: How can I use a custom renderer icon?

The only problem with his solution vs my config file is his doesn't properly play most MKV files with my testing.

Also, call me a bit paranoid, but the fact he registered the same day he made this post (1 day after I posted the solution) looks a little fishy to me...almost like he stole my conf. I could be wrong, and hopefully I am.

It is difficult for us developers to verify submitted .confs, since we usually don't have the device ourselves.
So we add the file 'as is' and wait for feedback from the community.

All your feedback for improvements of the SMP-N100.conf is welcome!

I credited you both in the changelog. As I understand it, the conf is yours. guillepalao added the image and made a minor adjustment to (edit: broke) the header match pattern.
