I got the Video working...

The audio is a bit of a problem.... your more than welcome to help me figure this out... im sure i dont have a setting in the CONF file right.

So I downloaded the newest version of PMS and tested it with my DirecTV DVR. Sure enough, video works but no audio. Every single file I tried. I have to say though, I'm stoked to see someone working on this! Thank you!

Hey Deflanko, I pulled the new version down today and tried it on one of my HR24 Receivers. I get a Blank black screen. This is the debug that I got from it. This is just a HR24 HD Receiver, I will try the HR24 DVR tonight. I was already streaming a movie from my PS3 on that TV and could interupt it. Let me know if you see anything in there that might help or need more information.

i think it has to do with MKV's and muxing...

i dont think MKV's liek to be mux'd... because arent they already? and with variable FPS?

ive been trying with AVI's and can only get video...

I have tried literally all video formats... MKV, MP4, AVI, VOB, MOV, MPG, M2TS etc. None have audio. However, when streaming to a PS3, all work flawlessly. Looks like there is an issue with the way the HD DVR is reading audio codecs.

I do know tsmuxer has issue with variable frame rates. I'm not even getting video at the moment. I have found Servio to work pretty well. I have tried tsmuxer and mencoder with and both get the same results. I'am running this on a brand new WHS 2011 server. I might give it a try with ps3ms running on one of my win 7 workstation.

I have a Directv HR24, and it only supports mpeg2 video to my knowledge. I always get a black screen, so I was thinking that it wasn't transcoding to mpeg2. How can I do this?
