I don't really know much about transcoding and muxing but to fix the constant video/audio-sync problems I have I would like to better understand the problem. Could someone explain to me why I sometimes have audio out of sync when I watch it on my ps3 with pms but, watching the same file on my pc with vlc is working perfectly. I have tried a lot of the available sound options (the only thing that sometimes worked was using TSmuxer instead of MEncoder) but honestly for me this feels like trying to fetch my keys out of a really dark gully with a stick.
Anyone sheding some light on the topic would help me a lot.Thx
