MS and XBMC

Really sorry to post this, as I know I should be able to figure this out, but.... I can't.

If I install XBMC on my Windows PC, which is what I store my video files on, and what I run MS on, can I somehow use XBMC as the frontend, on my PS3?

Does that make sense?

If so... if there a faq somewhere explaining it to me, like I'm an idiot?

Yes (on your PC), but it may currently be broken.
