Compile MEncoder in FreeBSD 9.0

Hi, I'm trying to compile MEncoder, the default Makefile does't work with subtitles because lacks of fontconfig support. I've made some changes to the file but there are a lot of my files that have problems with subtitles. It's weird because most files play well but don't shown subtitles (even when selected in the ps3 explorer).

Right now I'm trying to compile MEncoder with all options enabled, but I'm pretty sure it's not the way. Where can I find the right options for Ps3 Media Server?

There are scripts in the contrib directory to compile the PMS binaries like MEncoder plus all its requirements.
