SharkHunter, I did clean out the old installation before installing 41. Uninstalled then removed every trace in the filesystem manually (%programfiles%, %programdata%). Is there anything stored in the registry?

Will try the original config file together with 42.

Nope nothing is stored in the registry. Make sure to remove the PMS.conf from (under win7) ProgramData\PMS_SHB\PMS.conf (if you want to wipe your settings).

Well here is my debug logs, i tried resetting cache restarted the server, i was testing on 1 channel movies, released,We brought a zoo, i tried it from the original folder, transcoded folder, all the way back to last folder,0, etc all got the same result, from every hoster ffmpeg returned error 1, hope we can help you crack this, back in the day i used to use this quite a bit and it worked.

I wonder if i should just install into c:/pms so there is no gaps in the cmds e.g "Program files" just c:\pms\"etc"

Still not working here.
I have established this:
[*]If you have the original non-shb PMS.conf-file in the %programdata%\PMS-SHB\ during installation, the server won't start at all.
[*]If you perform a clean installation, the channels folder is not correct in the config file, you have to add extras\ folder in the path. And then when you try to stream, you get this:

Code: Select all

I still think it's related to the encoding of the rtmpdump url.

Edit: I do not longer think it's related to url encoding :)
And I have no clue what the issue is.

Nice work there, im trying to help but dont have a clue, hopefully we can get this fixed, i noticed that if we go to these hosters on the web, there is some kind of countdown that goes on before we can watch the movie, so perhaps there is a wait or something that we should be doing

I don't understand whats wrong with your conf files :( .This is of course something that should just work. dakire - your script path must be screwed up. MAke sure it is extras\\scripts. ALso is pmsencoder the first engine?

This is mine PMS.conf (that works) The paths SHOULD be possible to be relative, but it looks like they are absolute here (Channels is changeing tsome of them by itself):

Are we any closer to inding out why we are having problems with v.42? I get the data corrupted but i have just installed on a fresh windows 7 64 bit install, nothing else installed apart from codecs and vlc and avsynth stuff, Should I do a propper install of python into the c: drive
