Problem with my plasma Pioneer

Postby cfrank » Sat Mar 28, 2009 11:10 am

Hello,
I have a TV Pioneer KRP-500A and I don't manage to do connect my TV. How to configure PS3 Media Server to recognize my TV?

Hi Actually you can see from the HMG of the Pioneer (I have a LH/5090H) the content offered by PMS.

I didn't do anything particular, it works better if you turn off your PS3.

The issues I have are:
- Not all content seems directly playable from the Pioneer. Probably because the PMS knows what PS3 support directly and thus some content (like divx) is not supported. Anyway you just need to Transcode it and everything is ok
- Pioneer seems very slow in managing Full HD material. I can get 720p material with no problem (even with AC3 sound sent to my Amplifier) but 1080p seems not manageable. It is not a network issue because I have the PS3 and the Pioneer connected via the same switch to the PMS server
- browsing is very slow but this a Pioneer issues

Anyway, even if not supported, it kinda works :-)
