Sharp BD-HP25U

Postby steam9905 » Thu Mar 22, 2012 6:56 pm

I recently purchased a Sharp Aquos blu-ray player that isn't compatible with PMS and was wondering if there was anything in the works to fix this?? I did find some code related to Sharp products but it need to be created into a .conf file and I don't know how to do this with a Windows system or if it will even work for my player. Here is the line of code I found.....

Code: Select all

# Refer to PS3.conf for help

StreamExtensions=

Supported = f:mpegps|mpegts    v:mpeg2|mp4|h264    a:ac3|lpcm|aac|mpa   m:video/mpeg
Supported = f:mp3   m:audio/mpeg
Supported = f:wav   m:audio/L16

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

If your player is not supported, the FAQ describes how to fix it.

Looked into .conf files and it looks like to revise or edit you need to be runnig a Unix or Linux system and I'm running Windows XP. Not quite sure how to do what is described in the FAQ.

You can edit them with notepad. Search the Google if you need help opening and saving files with notepad.
I provide NO application support via PM or email, so please post your question to the forum per the Forum Rules.

I am using the profile you created and damn it works better than anything out there for Sharp..... BUT yes, I cannot get PHOTOS to show..... JPEGs are just not coming up when I browse the folders.

Anyone have any luck here?

This is my last gotcha...... got my PS3 and Samsung all tuned perfectly....... just the Sharp Aquos. I have the 52" LC52LE640U.

If anyone has an idea what to try - i'll try it!
