Should be at C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\MPlayer

I remember seeing someone post that it had worked for them. If it works for you I'll look at deleting it on install.

i deleted the folder then it recreated it, but it still shows the same behavior the video is ahead of the audio by a few seconds.

Try running this CMD in a folder:

Code: Select all
"C:\Program Files (x86)\PS3 Media Server\win32\mencoder.exe" "F:\Files 2\file.mkv" -oac copy -of mpeg -mpegopts format=mpeg2:muxrate=500000:vbuf_size=1194:abuf_size=64 -ovc lavc -channels 2 -lavdopts debug=0:threads=2 -lavcopts autoaspect=1:vcodec=mpeg2video:acodec=ac3:abitrate=448:threads=2:keyint=1:vqscale=1:vqmin=1:vrc_maxrate=49000:vrc_buf_size=1835 -subdelay 20000 -ofps 25 -lavdopts fast -af lavcresample=48000 -srate 48000 -o file.mpeg

After a minute push ctrl+c to stop it, then play file.mpeg, is it out of sync and did mencoder report anything unusual as it was running?

well all i can figure is there is nothing wrong with pms code which is a good thing, and it doesnt seem its anything u have done, it seems mencoder developers have done something because sb26,27,28 is all affected but everything sb25 and before works fine. hopefully it gets fixed along the line in time. im gonna just use sb25 for now since it plays everything flawlessly just be aware of the issue and i will continue to try new memcoder builds to see if it gets fixed and let u know. some mkv's are only affected (probably about 5% of what i have which isnt that many, mostly music videos or doco's) but it doesnt seem avi's are affected at all. as for the error msg below this was introduced in sb27 and doesnt do it in sb26 though sb26 still has the sync issue so i dont think its related unless they made the change in sb26 then started logging it in sb27.

had SB29 running and wanted to try newer builds 51 and 68 - however when installed they cannot find PS3 (or vice versa) - when I re-install the SB29 all works good.

been having issue with subtitles on a specific torrent - they are not showing up even after remuxing in MKVGUI - maybe some advice:

Hey Subjunk.

I seems to have a java problem.

I download the latest java from there web site. Then i run ps3 media server it sayes "Download java 7.0 now"

It seems that PS3 media server want a "older" version of Java.

Regards DPT and thanks

Latest version of Java is here. For some weird reason they are still offering Java 6 as the default download on some websites, but Java 7 on their company website (oracle.com).
