PS3Mediaserver and UbuntuServer without GUI

Hi,
I have already installed the PS3Mediaserver under my Windows Client PC. The Problem is, the client is not runnning the whole day and I do not want to turn it on only to use the Media Server.
In my network I have a Ubuntu Server which is also my File Server.
The Ubuntu Server has no GUI. Is there any manual how I can use the PS3 Mediaserver under an UBuntuServer without GUI or is it impossible?
If any one can send me just some Informations then I will post my tutorial here in a few weeks, I think I am not the only one who is interested in this situation.
