Thanks once again. Regarding my problem running PMS as a service, I noticed after checking again, that I changed the wrapper.conf line >

# Maximum Java Heap Size (in MB)
wrapper.java.maxmemory=1536

This was causing the error described in my previous post. So, to fix it, I changed it so it now reads:
# Maximum Java Heap Size (in MB)
wrapper.java.maxmemory=1300

Is there a way to increase the wrapper.java.maxmemory to 1536 or more, considering that I have 8Gb in RAM. I think this has something to do with the wrapper using java32 instead of java64. But I haven't found a way to make it use java64 so that I can increase the maxmerory above 1300.

You can specify which Java install by modifying the environment variables. Details are included in that FAQ post.

Hello and thanks once again...

After more in depth search, I found a way to fix the problem, by running PMS via the batch file. I specified the directory for the java64 and was able to increase the maxmemory to 1536. No error message and I tested it with a mp4 file with H.264 codec and it did not skip ahead anymore. :D

Thanks so much, for your patience and help
