I just came to mention I solved the problem with subtitle.
I always had a square thing at the end of the sentence.

So, I don't know if it is a problem with ubuntu server or 10.04, but it is fixed:

I had to install the fonts:

sudo apt-get install ttf-ubuntu-font-family
sudo apt-get install ttf-ubuntu-title

Then everything was fine! So if you could add it in your start-up scripts I think it would spare a lot of time in the future!

I don't think so. I think developers decided to drop it from source base.

Thanks for the tip, lordfreak. Package update is pending.

Hi.

Need some help.

I do have some videos (HD and SD) as mkvs made with dvdfab and megui.

Actually tsmuxer doesn't play them. Always corrupted. A few versions ago the sd vids were working. HD don#t know because I didnt have them.

I will reencode them with other settings but ...

Regards

Jose

I can't get tsmuxer to work on Ubuntu 11.10 using the ppa. I have separate post on this at http://www.ps3mediaserver.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=13811. I would appreciate any help.

I didn't find anything that may affect tsmuer playback in 1.50.2+svn1092+mplayer34587-4 / 1.50.2+svn1092+mplayer34587-3 diff. Also tsMuxer remuxing works fine on my PC.

I guess I need small video sample for testing or at least exact PS3MS version number where it works to see what was changed.

Any advice?

Code: Select all
$ sudo apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages have been kept back:
  ps3mediaserver
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.

I don't have to do

Code: Select all
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

do I?
