Problem streaming to xbox 360

It seems that the xbox 360 can only navigate a singe folder deep But this itself isn't the only issue. If i try and lay the entire folder i get a message with error code "19-04-80070032". I searched the forum and found just one instance of this come up and the user received help in the form of a link to another page of a user with similar problems.

If however i make the directory to be shared the folder containing the music the issue persists giving me the same error code as above but with the mp3 files as opposed to with folders.

If i use the video player i can navigate through easily but as its not video it wont play.

I am using the latest version to my knowledge (1.50.1) and i believe it is installed correctly as i used this guide (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Ps3MediaServer)

Perhaps uninstalling everything and starting from the beginning may help but problem is im really a noob and wouldn't know how. Perhaps someone could provide a terminal command or a guide.

Or perhaps my settings are wrong and maybe someone would be kind enough to provide appropriate settings for streaming to an xbox.
