Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I've been using PS3MediaServer on linux for a while, streaming via ethernet and it has played everything great. I recently upgraded the TV to Samsung UE46ES8000 and the 3D is working fine from 3D blu-rays played on the PS3, but I have a few SBS mkv files and when I try to stream them, it's not working - The files stream, but they are literally side by side. I see this on the TV:

I confess I don't yet understand "side-by-side" and how it makes its way into watchable stereoscopic 3D, but I'm assuming something gets converted somewhere.
There are no settings on the PS3 or the TV I can adjust, as they are only available when the TV has "woken" 3d mode when (I assume) it detects a 3d source. I've tried all the things in this thread except look for non-repo versions of mencoder, tsMuxeR and ffmpeg. I'm using PMS 1.52.1
Suggestions welcome!
