3D FULL SBS mkv's

How to get the subtitels to work, but still keep the settings so I can view SBS3D ?

Subs doesnt even work for normal movies with these settings.. Any solution?

can anyone get this FULL HD 3D TRON LEGACY trailer to work on their pms setup? it's a 3840 x 1080 mkv.

i'm using a sony nx710, cat6 cables in bb router, and a 2.4 ghz quad core pc, and i've even tried using a new subjunk build of the pms and the codecs mentioned on the previous page but no joy. i only get sound, it's like the tv doesnt recognise its a 3d signal.

if anyone has managed to get the tron clip to work please state setup details and any other useful info.

I have a Panasonic VT20 and it works for me using default settings. I've watched many 3D SBS movies via PS3 Media Server now.

Edit: I have only tested Half-SBS and I expect ExSport is right that Full-SBS won't work

FULL SBS is not supported by any renderer via DLNA due to out of specs resolution = more than 1080p

Yes, unfortunately Google often ranks older threads higher than new ones, so in order to have the maximum amount of people see an answer it sometimes involves necroing threads (I found this thread via Google)

Half-SBS is when the total resolution for the video is 1920x1080, meaning that each half is 960x1080.
Full-SBS is when the total resolution for the video is 3840x1080, meaning that each half is 1920x1080.

Thank you. And do I get it right, that the PS3 Media Server only supports half sbs?

No. There isn't any renderer which supports resolution higher than 1080p so FullSBS is possible only on PC.
It has nothing to do with PMS itself.

ExSport, PS3 does support full-SBS via blu-ray, but not via DLNA
