Please fix small thumbnail bug on Bravia

On my Bravia W5500 i'm blessed having the folder thumbnails.. The only problem is; if the folder name contains a dot the image won't show =/
If it's not very hard, that would be a nice little fix..

Second wish, again with Bravia i can select "rows/columns"-view.. only the pictures are dimmed from the foldername text-overlay - In Taconaut's version (mlx), the textoverlay is removed so that the folder image is nice and bright.

Can't you simply rename the directories with a dot to something without a dot?
I don't think it's likely that code that messes with the file names will ever be committed to PMS.

Well, i don't want code to mess with file names..necesarily..
I'm just highlighting a few problems on Bravia maybe someone knew of a fix.

I know this is Java, but in for an example VBScript, build in functions like getBaseName, getParentFolder sometimes gives you unexpected results, if a dot (or multiple dots) is a part of the filename foldername. (because it read the dot as extension delimiter)
