Change:
UserAgentSearch=Revue

to

UserAgentSearch=MediaPlayer

Then it worked like a dream for me.

Anyone know how to force transcoding on mkv files with dts and mpg files? Editing conf file with below settings did not work. I would like to know if it's possible before spending $30 on Mezzmo. All my media files plays in Logitech revue using Mezzmo. From what I read, Mezzmo is transcoding unsupported media files using ffmpeg.

TranscodeExtensions=mkv,mpg

That didn't work for me either...
If it helps.. the only renderer that works for me is the PS3... none of my WMP machines can see anything when they connect to the PMS either...

Still cannot play mkv with dts, but this profile should work.

Code: Select all
# ps3mediaserver renderer profile for Logitech Revue
# Refer to PS3.conf for help

RendererName=Revue
RendererIcon=android.png
UserAgentSearch=GTVMediaPlayer/1.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US) GoogleTV
Video=true
Audio=true
Image=true
SeekByTime=false
TranscodeVideo=MPEGAC3
TranscodeAudio=LPCM
DefaultVBVBufSize=true
MuxH264ToMpegTS=true
MuxDTSToMpeg=false
WrapDTSIntoPCM=false
MuxLPCMToMpeg=true
MaxVideoBitrateMbps=0
MaxVideoWidth=1920
MaxVideoHeight=1080
mediainfo=true
TranscodeExtensions=
StreamExtensions=

Try reinstalling PMS and java. Uninstall PMS completely including profile and settings.

Is this with the previous gingerbread version or are you on honeycomb?

My gingerbread version ran fine, but now that I got the honeycomb release it seems that it wont even pull up a list from the server.

It never worked before or after the upgrade to Honeycomb.

No such luck! Although, Mezzmo works with some playback issues.
