Anyhow all's well that ends well!

I was assuming that the python27.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64 was not properly installed and/or registered by the SHB31 installer.

Brilliant, I think you nailed it on the head! That explains why it worked for me and not you, since I had a working python install before I tried SHB30. Good to know at least one of us is thinking :) .

I've added an auto-install script at the top of the thread to try and help simplify things:

  • Windows Quick Setup: unzip py27-py4j-install.zip and double-click on 'py27chk.bat' to auto-install python 2.7 and py4j.
If you've installed jumpy via SHB30+ run this and then make the indicated change to your PMS.conf (located at c:\ProgramData\PMS-SHB\). You can then remove PS3MediaServer-SHB\extras\Python27 if you want to regain 16mb of space.

  • Fixes bug where only the first renderer to connect can see Jumpy's contents.

If you aren't seeing Jumpy on the xmb and want a useful answer please provide more info about your setup.

I am running win 7 64 bit followed the same exact instructions you have listed. I am able to see the C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\XBMC folder.
In PS3 I can see the Jumpy folder by drill to it from Program Files/ps3 Media Server/Plugins/Jumpy/xmbc.
I am just not quite sure what I am missing ? I can provide more information if needed. Thanks for looking at this

With python and py4j present and pms-jumpy-0.1.2.zip and xbmc-0.2.3.zip unzipped as described at the top you should see a 'Jumpy' root folder directly under PS3MediaServer on the PS3 xmb. If it's not there then please attach your debug.log and plugins/jumpy/jumpy.log as a zip and we'll take it from there.

Alternatively you can try the SHB build of PMS which comes ready to go with Jumpy (and won't overwrite or interfere with your current PMS installation).
