Why not make a transcode for audio streams (mp3, aac etc), to add in a video stream, so that you can add in a VIS (or vid file of choice, or even a screensaver or webcam)?
Would be cool to use a vis, or have a fireplace or fishbowl or something on my TV while i listen to TV, and we all know the PS3 VIS is - ahem...
Anyway, the audio files could appear under the video section of the PS3 (or other renderer), and it's possible to set up a vis for them.
Nifty, no?
